You will be able to find out when your paper is scheduled by logging into the CSAE Speaker Hub and going to the 'My Session' tab. Read our step-by-step guide to logging in here.

If you need to update the PDF version of your paper, please log into the submissions website to upload the final version by 31 January 2024. After this date the site will close and any updates will need to be emailed to csae.conference@economics.ox.ac.uk.

Your profile

All speakers have a profile on the conference website and app, please log into the Speaker Hub to update your profile information and add a photograph.

Your presentation

All presentations will be conducted in person at the CSAE Conference 2024 in Oxford, UK. Please bring your presentation on a USB stick to load onto the lecture computers. Laptops cannot be connected to the projectors/screens.

Every speaker will also act as a discussant for another paper and one speaker will also act as the chair for their session. We arrange each session alphabetically by speaker, with the last speaker assigned the role as session chair

Read our session guidance in full for more information.

Being a discussant

All speakers are also given the role of discussant for another paper in their session. As a discussant, you are required to read the paper that you have been allocated in advance of the session so that you can start the discussion and you should prepare a few suggestions to improve the paper. You do not need to summarise the paper. You will have 5 minutes to give your feedback. You will be able to download the paper you are discussing from the online CSAE Conference programme. If the paper is not available, please email us and we will do our best to put you in touch with the author. You can find out which paper you are discussing by viewing the session description in the programme.
