The files explain how to replicate the results of the above paper. This dataset contains Stata programs and the following data:

  1. An anonymized extract of he 2006 Kenya Integrated Household Budget Survey (KIHBS)

  2. Standardized test scores from the KCPE exam, provided by the Ministry of Education

  3. School-level administrative data from the Education Management Information System (EMIS), provided by the Ministry of Education
