Romuald Méango joined the Department of Economics on 01 September 2021, as Associate Professor and Tutor Fellow at Christ Church. Before, he held a Post-Doctoral researcher position at the Ifo Institute, Munich, then at the Max-Planck Institute for Social law and Social Policy, where he headed the Migration Unit for two years. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Montréal, and an MSc in Statistics and Economics from ENSEA. His research focuses on the migration of the skilled labour force, the interaction between subjective expectations and investment in human capital and on the identification of counterfactual outcomes.
