Daksh is a development and labour economics researcher from India, with particular interests in the transformative potential of big-push cash transfers in alleviating poverty, designing social protection mechanisms to aid climate adaptation, and improving gender inclusivity in labour markets. He recently completed his MPhil in Economics as a Rhodes Scholar from the University of Oxford, having previously studied for the MA and BA in Economics from Ashoka University. He is also quite interested in policy advocacy and policy design beyond economics and likes to dabble in some philosophy, particularly studying social epistemology, justice, and ethics.
