Brynde is currently completing her DPhil in Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government as an Oxford-Wolfson-Marriot Scholar. Her DPhil focuses on employment and the role of information in economic decision making.
Brynde has five years of experience in development policy research in South Africa and Ghana, on projects relating to labour markets, social protection, education, behaviour and mental health. She is passionate about using rigorous academic evidence to evaluate, design and implement development policies that combat poverty. Brynde's primary research interests are in using the tools from applied microeconomics to understand how behaviour and mental health shape human capital outcomes.
