Ben Brunckhorst is a Research Analyst in the Poverty and Equity Global Engagement (EPVGE) department at the World Bank. His research focuses on the welfare implications of climate change in developing countries, poverty and inequality measurement, and adaptation and resilience policies. Among other research at the World Bank, he contributes to global poverty monitoring, Country Climate and Development Reports in Africa and developing new climate risk metrics. He completed the MSc in Economics for Development at the University of Oxford in 2020 and previously worked as a research assistant at the University and for the Centre for Disaster Protection.
