Margaryta Klymak is a Departmental Lecturer in Development Economics at the Department of International Development.
Prior to joining ODID, Margaryta pursued an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Economics at Trinity College Dublin as a Grattan scholar. During her PhD studies she interned at UNU-WIDER and worked as a consultant for the World Bank.
Margaryta is a development economist whose research focusses on the behaviour of firms in both empirical and theoretical settings as well as child and forced labor in developing countries. Her current research examines the behaviour of firms in Georgia and Ukraine.
