Desmond Fairall

Desmond joins the Department of Economics is a Research Assistant. Desmond previously worked for the Mind and Behaviour Research Group, based at the Blavatnik School of Government. Desmond has a Bachelor of Science Honours in Mathematics from the University of Cape Town and an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics. After a brief detour into the world of Category Theory he is back to his true calling in Development Economics. His research interests lie in behavioral and labour market interventions to increase human capital.
