#DIYCSAE - A Twitter CSAE Conference

Follow #DIYCSAE live. We're pleased to announce that we're extending #DIYCSAE until Friday 03 April!

We are recreating the conference on Twitter, want to get involved?

This year’s programme, as always, is crammed full of really interesting papers with the potential for great discussions, can you help us to create a #DIYCSAE conference? Taking place from 16 March - 03 April 2020, for all those who would still like to engage, find out how to get involved. Not on Twitter? Follow the posts via the conference programme.

We are very sorry to announce that the CSAE Conference 2020 has been cancelled.

Following the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been monitoring advice from the UK government and after updated advice and announcements of further travel restrictions on Tuesday 10 March, we have decided that we have no choice but to cancel this year’s event. We really appreciate all the messages of support that you have been sending, and we hope to see you in 2021.

Having to cancel the conference has left a major hole in the CSAE finances, as we have already committed funds to the conference venues on your behalf. We work hard on fundraising every year to support around 50 colleagues from Africa to present their papers at the CSAE conference, and we hope to be in a position to continue doing this for 2021. Any unclaimed refunds will be put towards this, and we would appreciate it if you would be mindful of this when you are considering requesting a refund of your booking.

We are processing all requested refunds as quickly as we can and will respond to your email as soon as we have processed your request. Thank you for your patience.
