Biography

Sébastien Walker is writing a doctoral thesis on aspects of macroeconomics in countries of the East African Community (EAC), under the supervision of Dr Christopher S. Adam. The first of three chapters is concerned with the bank lending channel of monetary policy transmission in EAC countries. He is also a College Lecturer in Economics at Keble College and Regent’s Park College.

He previously completed the MPhil in Economics, and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, also at the University of Oxford. Since coming to Oxford, he has worked as an intern at the Bank of England, the UK Financial Services Authority, Oxford Policy Management, and Oxera Consulting. He was born in the UK, and grew up in France, where he was educated at the Lycée International of Lyon.
