Dr Pedro Vicente

Biography
Dr Pedro Vicente is a research officer at the Centre for the Study of
African Economies, Department of Economics, University of Oxford. He holds
an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Portuguese Catholic University
(1998), a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (2000), and
both MA (2001) and PhD (2005) in Economics from the University of Chicago.
His research interests are in the intersection of development economics
(with a strong microeconomic field-based component) with
institutional/political issues. He has current projects on corruption, vote
buying, aid, and conflict.
